For the few people that don’t know — <a href="http://www.twitter.com/willsmith" title="Will Smith on Twitter">Will</a> and <a href="http://www.twitter.com/nchan" title="Norm from Tested on Twitter">Norm</a> are the real deal, they don’t just talk about tech, they live it.</p> <p>They invited us (<a href="http://www.mooncricketfilms.com" title="Mooncricket Films SF Bay Area Video Production">Mooncricket Films</a>) to help produce a quick video on the new iPad. It was awesome. They not only showed off the new iPad and compared it to the two previous models, they actually took it apart piece by piece to give everyone a first look under the hood. These guys put a whole new chapter in the GTD manifesto. They get more done on one Friday than most people do all month. They waited in line and purchased a new iPad, produced and filmed two videos, took the new iPad apart (and put it back together), and they even managed to help us with editing at our office and launch a new site. I guess it’s just another day at a startup, but it felt great. Thanks to Google and other forward thinking partners I’m sure the NFC logo will become as common as the Bluetooth symbol. But where is the NFC logo in this picture? Wonder when or if Apple will embrace this service in future mobile devices. Regardless of big tech and retail endorsements the ultimate test will be consumer adoption. How far away are we from the day mobile devices will replace plastic credit cards and leather wallets? What do you think?
