Go ChinaSF Golden Serpents
This past Saturday I had the pleasure of participating in the 2011 International Dragon Boat Festival at Treasure Island. I was rowing with the “ChinaSF Golden Serpents” in the “Novice Bay Area Bash.” Our team raced extremely well. We placed 1st in our first two races and 4th in the championship out of 30+ novice teams.
This was my first time participating in the festival and it certainly won’t be my last. I’m already looking forward to next year! Many thanks to David Perry for introducing me to the festival and giving me the opportunity to row on behalf of ChinaSF.
